1. General Information
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of www.lauraolenska.com and the purchase of original artworks and art prints through this platform. By making a purchase, you agree to abide by these terms.
2. Original Artworks
- Purchases within New Zealand: Sales of original artworks within New Zealand are conducted directly with the artist. An invoice will be issued, and payment must be made via bank transfer. Full payment is required upfront before the artwork is shipped.
- International Purchases: Buyers outside New Zealand must purchase original artworks via Saatchi Art or Art Majeur, which operate under their respective Terms & Conditions.
- Returns & Refunds: Buyers have 14 days from the date of delivery to return an artwork. Returns are at the buyer’s expense, and the artwork must be returned in its original condition. Refunds will only be processed once the artwork is received and inspected.
- Shipping & Insurance:
- The artist handles all shipping within New Zealand, including insurance.
- If the artwork arrives damaged, the buyer must:
- Take photos of the damaged packaging before opening.
- Document all damage to the artwork with clear photographs.
- Retain all original packaging.
- Notify the artist immediately with photographic evidence.
- Without this process, no resolution will be possible.
- The artist will then initiate an insurance claim and discuss resolution options with the buyer.
3. Art Prints
- Production & Quality Control: Art prints are produced by an associate printer in New Zealand and undergo quality control before shipping by the artist.
- Shipping: Prints are available for both national and international shipping.
- Returns & Replacements: Defective prints will be replaced. Please refer to our specific return policy page for details.
- Damaged Prints in Transit: Issues related to damage during shipping will be handled directly with the carrier.
